Supporting families, children, and neighbors through programs that meet real needs in Fairfield County.

At the Fairfield Community Food Bank, our programs are designed to meet the needs of our community in practical and meaningful ways. From providing nutritious food options to supporting children over the weekend, each initiative helps us serve our neighbors with dignity, compassion, and care.

Program Sections

Nutrition Program

Our Nutrition Program helps provide individuals and families with access to nourishing food options that support overall health and well-being. Through this program, we work to provide food that helps our neighbors prepare balanced meals at home.

This initiative is especially important for families, seniors, and community members who may have limited access to fresh, affordable, and nutritious food.

Stamp Out Hunger

Stamp Out Hunger is a community-wide effort that helps restock pantry shelves and support families facing food insecurity. Through donated non-perishable food items and community participation, this initiative helps the Fairfield Community Food Bank continue serving those in need.

Every donation helps provide emergency food assistance for local families, seniors, veterans, and individuals throughout Fairfield County.

Weekend Backpack Program

The Weekend Backpack Program provides food support for school-aged children who may not have reliable access to meals when school is not in session. Through this program, children receive food items to take home over weekends and school breaks.

By helping children return to school nourished and ready to learn, we are investing in their health, education, and future.

These programs are made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners. Whether you give food, make a donation, volunteer your time, or help spread the word, your support helps us continue serving our neighbors.

Together, we can fight hunger and strengthen Fairfield County.
