About the Food Bank

At Fairfield Community Food Bank, we believe no neighbor should have to face hunger alone

Who We Are

The Fairfield Community Food Bank is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing hunger and food insecurity throughout Fairfield County, South Carolina.

Located in Winnsboro, we serve as a vital resource for low-income families, working individuals, senior citizens, disabled veterans, and neighbors facing economic hardship in this designated food desert.

What We Do

We help bridge the gap for neighbors in economic distress by providing non-perishable food boxes, supporting local students through a Weekend Food Backpack program, and partnering with delivery services to reach homebound residents.

Together, We Can Make Fairfield County Hunger-Free
With the support of donors, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners, the Fairfield Community Food Bank continues to serve as a lifeline for neighbors in need. Our work is rooted in compassion, strengthened by service, and guided by the belief that everyone deserves access to nutritious food.
Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to provide food with dignity and

compassion to individuals and families in need. That is

why every person who comes to us is treated with respect, kindness, and care. Our vision is a community where everyone has reliable access to nourishing food.

Powered by Community

The food bank is funded entirely through individual and corporate donations and powered 100% by community volunteers. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every partnership helps move us closer to a healthier, hunger-free Fairfield County.
